  • Row-Level Security (RLS) policies in our database
  • Secure authentication via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may request deletion of your data at any time through the app settings or by contacting us. Upon deletion:

  • Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted
  • Your gratitude entries, affirmations, goals, and meditation history will be removed
  • Some data may be retained for legal or regulatory compliance

ShineMind is not intended for children under the age of 9. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 9. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will take steps to delete such information.

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ. By using ShineMind, you consent to the transfer of your information to our facilities and service providers.

ShineMind integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Apple Services: Apple Sign-In, Push Notifications, In-App Purchases

10. Camera and Photo Library

ShineMind requests access to your camera and photo library to allow you to:

  • Add photos to gratitude journal entries

Photos are stored securely in your account and are not shared with third parties. You can revoke camera/photo access at any time in your device settings.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of ShineMind after such modifications constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of the updated policy.
